Fairway Golf and Full Swing Golf were delighted to partner Xerox India at one of the most prestigious golfing events in Asia, the Johnnie Walker Classic 2008 staged at DLF Golf and Country Club from 28 February to 2 March 2008.
The Xerox Hole in One Challenge on the Full Swing Golf simulator was the major attraction at the tournament with an Audi up for grabs, a first in India.
For four days, Full Swing Golf played host to over 300 participants of the Nearest-the-Pin challenge on the par 3, 17th hole of Pebble Beach. Some great shots were seen over the 4 days and the three daily winners were eligible to participate in the final round.
The final round, hosted by Charu Sharma - a renowned TV personality, was held on 2nd March and the finalists tried their hand at getting a Hole in One on the par 3, 12th hole of Pebble Beach. Although no one managed to get a Hole in One, the 12 finalists won a Xerox multifunction printer each.
